Rugby 7's is a sport that is fast becoming popular since the 1970's when Fiji and New Zealand used to dominate the competition which was mostly held in Hong Kong the mecca of rugby 7's. With the announcement of it's inclusion into the 2016 Rio Olympics , top rugby nations are competing for the 16 spots and ultimately the Gold medal let alone being part of Olympic history. The HSBC World Rugby 7's has been tough during the 2014-2015 series where the top 4 teams namely Fiji, NZ, South Africa and England have gained automatic qualification to the Rio Olympics.
